Octavius was assaulted on the street in front of his home. Brothers Juaquez and Demetrius filmed the incident and had their cameras stolen by police, with Juaquez also assaulted. Sharon, aunt, was thrown from her wheelchair. They had property stolen from them that has never been returned.
All this over a parking ticket. “This incident will live with our family for the rest of our lives,” said Sharee Johnson, mother of the three brothers and Sharon’s sister. “None of us can call 911 when we need help and believe that police would be there to help us.
