Metropolitan Area, is a nonprofit organization created to represent, organize, and develop Salvadoran-American enterprises and business leaders. SACOCDC serves to empower and amplify the important contribution that this unique businesses community provides to the economy of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

 There are more than 3,500 Salvadoran-American owned business enterprises in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. With nearly three million Salvadoran immigrants living permanently in the United States, this community has developed a prominent presence in today’s American society.
