Disco queen Donna Summer passed away this morning at the age of 63.
The Queen of disco passed away this morning in Florida after a long battle with cancer. The news hasn’t been confirmed yet by a spokesperson.
Summer has been trying to downplay her illness and was even working on a new album. Unfortunately, the five-time Grammy award winner passed away before she could complete it. She was a superstar in the 1970s with disco hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.”
Donna Summer had three consecutive double albums reach the number one spot on the Billboard charts and was the first female recording artist to land four number one singles in 13 months.
